What: AIM for Seva presents Antar-Yatra – The Journey Within
AIM for Seva (All India Movement for Seva) is an integrated community development programme, reaching out to rural and tribal children across India. A not-for-profit organiSation founded by Pujya Swamiji Dayananda Saraswati in the year 2000, AIM for Seva’s mission is to make educational facilities accessible to the underprivileged children in rural India. It provides 360 degree support (24 X 7 X 365) for children to continue their schooling, through our Free Student Hostels (FSH). AIM for Seva is organizing their annual fundraiser – Antar Yatra, The Journey Within on 18 th July, Monday at 7PM, at Tilak Smarak Auditorium, Tilak Rd, Sadashiv Peth, Pune. All proceedings from the sale of donor passes will go towards educating children. Choreographed and directed by Sharmila Biswas, of the Odissi Vision & Movement Centre, Calcutta, this dance-drama will tour seven cities (Chennai – Pune – Mumbai – Kolkata – Delhi -Bangalore – Bhuvaneshwar).

What: ACTive Sunday with Aabad
End your weekend with some Sufi rock band. Aabad is a Pune based band, influenced by Sufi rock, Urdu/Hiindi Rock, Progressive rock and Metal Genres. Swapnil Shinde – Lead Guitarist, Rishikesh Kamble – Rhythm Guitarist, Tausif Shaikh – Bass, Deven Ubale – Drums, Yawar Abdal – Lead Vocalist. This Monsoon season experience an American contemporary style lounge, an Italian street cafe with live wood fire pizza oven and an Indo-Arabic rooftop gazebo style diner with live kitchen to choose from, where the counters incorporate a very rare NizamiHandi cuisine.

What: Act One Scene One presents Marriage-ology
Marriage-ology, a tamasha style Hindi & English comedy play to be staged on Sunday, July 10 at Nehru Memorial Hall, Camp is an honest take on marriage. The eight scene play draws inspirations from works of Khaleed Hosseni & Gabriel Garcia Marquez, gives a flavor of Deccani style poetry and puts together some original pieces by the directors Sunil Shanbag and Sapan Saran, all to create a charming and exciting collage.Sometimes hilarious, sometimes poignant, sometimes scathing, but always insightful; Marriage-ology will certainly create a captivating experience for the audiences.
